KMITL-NIDA join for “Financial Engineering Program”
KMITL-NIDA join for “Financial Engineering Program”, Integrating Science – Mathematics – Economics, to be opened in 2019.
(September 12, 2018) King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) by Prof. Dr. Suchatchawee Suwansawat, President of KMITL, together with executives of National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), launched the new “KMITL-NIDA International Financial-Engineering Degree Program” creating the innovative “Financial Engineers” for Thailand’s growing monetary and banking industries.
Currently, Thailand suffers from a shortage of skilled labor in “Fin Tech” and financial tech industry. This newest co-course structure is “4 + 1” year-course, teaching in English and divided into two phases, First-4-year is for Bachelor Degree and 2-Year after for Master’s Degree study, which students will study Economics and Finance. Financial Mathematics, Computer Programming and other related technologies in the courses.
Prof. Dr. Suchatchawee Suwansawat, said that KMITL, as the leading science and technology institution of Thailand, has goal of raising Thailand people educational level, knowledge and wisdom of economic power in order to accelerated Thai society development. The new “Financial-Engineering” program will combines engineering and financial-banking knowledge, bringing the strengths and potential of the two institutions, integrated for maximum benefits.
The program is expecting the first students will be admitted in the beginning of 2019 academic year.

(September 6, 2018) Faculty of Engineering, KMITL visited Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS), promoted and guided the International Program of Engineering to students and parents.

Shinshokai Foundation visit at KMITL
On September 3, 2018, Asst.
