Kyutech Students Internship at KMITL
August 27, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komsan Maleesee, Dean of Faculty of Engineering KMITL, along with staff, lecturers, executives from faculty of engineering, welcomed 4 faculty members and 10 students of Kyushu Institute of Technology (Japan) who came to participate in the internship exchange program under the agreement between the two institutes on August 22-31, 2018.
Also on August 30, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuwongong Pongcharoenpanit, Vice Dean, attended to Kyutech students’ presentation on students performances and experiences they had in Thailand during the internship spell.

(August 28, 2018) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komsan Maleesee, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, also with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uma Seeboonruang, Vice Dean, Welcomed Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha, Professor at Kathmandu University, Nepal, paying a visit to Department of Agricultural Engineering KMITL and researching along with Faculty members; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panmanas Sirisomboon and Dr. Ravipat Lapcharoensuk, between August 25 to September 3, 2018, the Academic Melting Pot program which inviting international researchers to collaborate with the faculty members of the institute. On this occasion, the group also talked about potential on academic lecturers and students exchange activities between two institutions.
IARE, India visited KMITL
(August 17, 2018) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uma Seeboonruang, Vice Dean, Faculty of Engineering KMITL, welcomed Sri. Ch. Satthi Reddy (President) and executives of Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE), Dundigal, Hyderabad, India, to discuss on academic activities and agreement on students and faculty exchange. On this occasion, the visitors also made a visit to Department of Mechanical engineering and Electronic engineering as well.
Exchange Program “Thai – China – Japan” Engineering Students on PBL
Collection pictures of students on “Project-Based Learning: The Smart Farming System for Mushroom Through the Multicultural Working Environment” held between 6-17 August 2018 at KMITL, which included 31 engineering students 3 institutes; KMITL (9), FIT Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Japan (6) and Tongji University, China (16).
Students have been doing activities together on using IOTs to control the smart farming systems and getting to know Thai culture throughout the 12 days of the event
KMITL-WOORY-EVTEC, MoU signing on developing “Electricity Automobile”
(August 10, 2018) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komsan Maleesee, Dean of Faculty of Engineering KMITL, together with Asst. Prof. Noppadon Maneerat, Head of the Center for Expertise of Modern Vehicle Control Systems, Dr. Kim Sung Hoe, Executive Director of WOORY Industrial Co., Ltd and Dr. Sohn Ilseon, Executive of EVTEC Co., Ltd, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on jointly developing, testing and also sharing the electricity automobile technologies.
KMITL-FIT-Tongji “PBL-Smart Mushroom Farming System”
August 6th, 2018. Assoc. Dr. Uma Seebunruang, vice dean of faculty of engineering, KMITL. gave speeches in the opening event of “Project-based learning “Smart farming system for mushroom through multicultural working environment” which was held by Faculty of Engineering, Department of Information Technology Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, FIT, Tongji University and Fujita corp., between 6-17 August 2018.
The event is mainly encourage the way of learning by letting all the 31 participating students from various nations (6 Japanese, 16 Chinese and 9 Thai students) exchange their idea, experiences and skills of knowledge among them through the PBL simulation system building project.
Azbil Academy and Corporation Visit KMITL
(July 19, 2018) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Komsan Maleesee, Dean of Faculty of Engineering (KMITL), along with executives and lecturers from Department of Measurement and Control, welcomed Mr. Akihiko Naruse, President of Azbil Academy and Corporation (Japan) and Mr.Norio Teramoto, Vice President, meeting and discussed on KMITL students internship activities at Azbil Corporation both in Japan and Thailand.
CIE Students won the 1st runner-up at International TURTLE BOT Robot Competition.
Two students from Faculty of Engineering International Program in CIE (Computer Innovation Engineering) Mr. Soponphakorn Sutthikow and Miss Passara Chandchotesathien (both 2nd year students of CIE), won the first runner-up in the International TURTLE BOT robot competition, held during 5-6 July 2018 at Thailand Digital Transformation Exhibition ITC Conference-CSCC 2018, Sala Phra Keaw, Chulalongkorn University
